Cambridgeshire Youth Poetry Slam 2013
Thank you to everyone who made the Cambridgeshire Youth Slam Poetry finals such a great success. It was a great night with a fantastic audience and we can't wait till next year. To see what you missed, here's an article you might like to read by the fair's guest poet and writer Leanne Moden.
Congratulations especially to the winning poet Charlotte Higgins, who will be performing at the Hammer and Tongue Cambridge Slam Poetry night on Wednesday 12th June
Congratulations also to the brilliant rapper / poet Courtney Henville, who came in at 2nd place and Lucy Bett for 3rd position. And to all of the other amazing young poets, you stunned us all with your words.
The event was hosted by Inja, with guest poet Leanne Moden.
The Strawberry Slam is run by Page to Performance with thanks to Strawberry Fair, Amy Wormald, Impington Village College and Cambridge City Council
In the meantime, Page to Performance have been busy working with artist and filmaker Skue to produce a poetry film ready for your Summer. Get on your bikes and we'll see you next year!
