Strawberry Fair invites people to submit material to be considered for the stages, and also looks for volunteers to be part of the more impromptu entertainment...
Performing on the stages
Strawberry Fair 2008 is fully booked, the line-up will be released for the first time in the programme, which you can buy on the day from the info stalls.
If you're interested in performing at Strawberry Fair in 2009 please supply a CD containing at least 3 songs (or a live mix of over 45 minutes if you're a DJ), if you're a non musical performer please supply a DVD or other details of your performance. Also please include a brief biography / description of who you are and what you do, and a couple of press quality photos.

The closing date for considerations for playing at the fair in 2009 will be March 30th 2009.
If you have any queries about performing at Strawberry Fair please email . However please do not expect us to consider you for performing at Strawberry Fair based on the music on, for example. your MySpace page - not all our area coordinators use email and we need to get a physical CD we can pass around.
Non staged entertainment
Every year Strawberry Fair's Parade is an exciting colourful march from the centre of town to the centre of the Fair and launches the event. It takes loads of artists and creative people to produce the amazing costumes that make up the best of the Fair. We produce around 100 costumes each year ranging from fairy wings right through to the likes of a two man Praying Mantis. If you have a desire or skill with a pair of scissors or a sewing machine then please get involved. It is a great way to use those clothing design skills from college.
