The annual parade marks the official start of Strawberry Fair and the Cambridge summer. This year the theme of the Fair is Fairy Queens & Kings. We are inviting local residents, community groups and businesses to join the parade and help us celebrate.
Cambridge Community Samba Band Arco Iris will lead the parade joined by performers in fabulous costumes and on stilts. Starting at 11am the parade will travel through the city centre and arrive on Midsummer Common at 12.00noon.

Join the parade
The parade offers you the opportunity show the public what you do. Whether you are a community group, youth club, local business or just an individual wanting to get involved – we welcome you to join us.
If you are part of a group please send an email to parade@strawberry-fair.org.uk saying who you are, how many of you will be turning up for the parade and what you plan to do.
If you're not part of a community group or business but would like to dress up and join the parade simply meet us on Christ's Pieces at 10.45am on Saturday 2 June. Our theme is Fairy Queens & Kings – so be creative and you could be crowned queen or king of the Fair.
