Ents & Kids Area
Strawberry Fair is very proud of its amazing Kids Area. All of the attractions are free and we try to give you something new and fun every year. Here are just some of the amazing attractions we have for you this year:
- Foolhardy Circus Big Top - Circus shows throughout the day until 9pm!
- Fudge the Clown - Catch one of Fudge’s hilarious shows
- Graffiti Wall - Learn from the professionals and have a chance to create your own graffiti
- The Deck - Visit the big double decker bus with PS3, Wii, scrap store and crafty things onboard
- Three big bouncy castles and one mini castle for tots
- Trampolines
- Climbing Wall
- Helen Hat's Magic Show
- Storytelling with John Row
- Raqssharqi Capoeira
- Chaos Science - blowing things up and making lots of mess
- Painting & drawing marquee
- Finger painting wall
- Circus School

Kids Area Needs
The Kids area should be the safest and most fun area at Strawberry Fair, year on year we entertain countless hundreds of children and their families by surprising them with something new each time!
The area is run by Kath Austin who desperately needs volunteers to help out on the day. The Kids area is open from 12noon until 6pm. If you can help between those hours in any of the following roles please contact us on
- Face painting – All materials are provided. We need willing volunteers over the age of 13, no experience needed, just enthusiasm and a bit of imagination
- Stewards – Be the eyes and ears of the Kids area, enjoy the day and ensure everyone else is enjoying it to. Over 18 only I’m afraid
- Café – We need any volunteers over the age of 13 to help out serving in the café
The Kids area also needs your help finding scrap items. We are planning on another fantastic Strawberry Fair Kids Mural and need lots of bits & pieces to make this amazing collage. Milk Bottle tops, foil, string, paper, plastic, anything colourful…please contact if you can help out!

Kath Austin – Area Coordinator.
Kath has been running the Kids area for the past four years. For the fifth year it has to be BIGGER and BETTER than ever before. Every year has something new!
Kath likes dressing up, coconut yoghurts, getting muddy, the colour green, Cambridge, sunshine, trampolines, trivial pursuit and her doggy!
Kath does not like being cold, stuck inside, porridge and boring people.
