The Acoustic Tent

The Acoustic Tent at Strawberry Fair is relatively new compared to the fair in general and shares its tent with the Real Ale Bar (or the Acoustic Bar is its commonly known).

The Acoustic Tent programmes the tent with a selection of strong local performers, new local performers breaking onto the scene and also artists who are breaking onto the UK acoustic scene.

Previous notable performers on the stage include The Broken Family Band and Newton Faulkner.

The tent runs from 12noon until 9:30pm on the day of the fair and is ideal for relaxing, taking the kids or escaping the heat of a hot June day.

The Acoustic Tent Operatives

The Acoustic Tent is managed by Phil and Kev, plus many volunteers. They are active in promoting acoustic music from Cambridge, in both promoting musicians from Cambridge, and bringing musicians in from outside of Cambridge.
